I couldn’t do it, I just couldn’t stomach the idea of having her participate in the All Staff Anything Goes night. I already cut short her two playtimes, the one with Ricky and the one with Rapture. The image of her chained to the wall of the Garden or bent over one of my pommel horses, and me not being the one running the scene? The thought alone makes me want to commit crimes.

Instead of losing my cool and breaking bones, I whisked her away.

I glance over at Kylie curled up against the window, breathing soft, steady breaths in her sleep. She has no idea where she is right now, having not awakened since falling asleep on my couch.

Okay, so, technically, I kidnapped her.

Big deal. I’m the boss.

If I want to give one of my staff members an impromptu, well-earned vacation, that’s my prerogative, right? She’s been working her ass off. Why not spoil her? She hasn’t had to lift a finger for this trip—literally, I carried sleeping beauty onto the plane—and Emilia and Charlie, my co-conspirators, did all her packing.

Who wouldn’t want to be spirited away by the man they lost their virginity to? Her dark lashes flutter, her eyes opening. I look away so she won’t know I’ve been staring.

She gives a cat-like purr, stretching her lovely arms above her head. I can’t help but pick back up with my staring habit as the sweetest little smile curls the corners of her full lips.

“Did I fall asleep?” she purrs.

“More like passed out.”

“Wait… where are we?” She gives a shake of her head, blinking hard as she finally comes to. Her hazel eyes go wide as she takes in her surroundings. When she sees the clouds out of the window of the jet, she grabs my arm, eyes searching mine.
